Maintenance and care

Daily use

If you like to wear perfume or hairspray, put it on first and then wait 15 minutes before putting on your jewelry. The oils can cause your jewelry to become dull faster.
It is advisable to remove your jewelry during sports, showering, sleeping and (in the case of rings) when lifting heavy objects. Once you have removed your jewelry, store it separately in a jewelry box. By placing them on a jewelry tray, they can slide over each other and cause unnecessary scratches.

Cleaning

Are your jewelry in need of cleaning? Use lukewarm water with a little mild soap and a toothbrush with soft bristles to gently scrub. Then use a soft, clean cloth to gently dry the jewelry. There are ultrasonic vibration baths with which jewelry can be vibrated clean. Please note that not all stones can withstand these vibrations and can break as a result.

Maintenance and inspection

It is advisable to have jewellery with a claw setting checked regularly. Of course, it depends on the intensity with which it is worn and the type of jewellery how often it should be checked. After all, a ring will be damaged more quickly than a necklace and with daily use a piece of jewellery is subject to more than during a dinner. Having the jewellery checked once or twice a year can easily prevent the loss of stones.
