About Kiki
To be honest, I have never really had much of a thing for jewelry. I had a ring and a pair of earrings that, in my opinion, went with everything. It was only later that I started to appreciate jewelry. The ring that I got from my grandmother that has a whole family history behind it, the pearl necklace for my 21st birthday as an inside joke with my parents and the earrings that my partner brought from New Zealand have now become cherished pieces. So the appreciation for jewelry has increased, and not everything has to have a special story. That is exactly the nice thing about jewelry; you can find something suitable for every occasion
After years of sitting behind a desk, I felt the need to work with my head and my hands. In 2021, I decided to change course and retrain as a goldsmith at the vocational school in Schoonhoven. For someone who used to have nothing to do with jewelry, I am now crazy about it!
